Jason Singer (Hero)
Jason moved from New York City two months ago and works in voice-overs
and commercials. His last musical was "Guys and Dolls," where he played
Nathan Detroit. In 1995, he appeared in the second national tour of
"Into the Woods" and in 1991, he starred in "Buddy! The Buddy Holly
Story." He is a professional saxophonist and his work can be heard on
the RCA release "Happenstance" by Rachael Yamagata.

Jack Harding (Very Bad Guy/President)
Jack was most recently seen on stage in the classic drama "Golden Boy"
at the Long Beach Studio Theatre and the Los Angeles premier of the
muscial "Pageant." Stage credits include "Ruthless," "Annie," "Stepping
Out," "The Mystery of Irma Vep," and "Gypsy." On television, Jack has
been seen on the WB's "Reba" and on Comedy Central. His indie film
credits include "Craze," "San Bernardino," "Voodoo Man," "Hercules in
Hollywood," and "Ghost in the Garden." Jack is currently represented by
Coralie Jr. Talent Agency and managed by Crockett and Smith
Entertainment.

Lara Janine (Beauty)
No stranger to the stage, recording artist Lara Janine (a USC summa cum
laude Music Industry alumna) has performed as Kim Novak in Debbie
Allen's workshop production of Leslie Bricusse's "Sammy", Eve in
Lovers' Mayhem, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, and Babe in Pajama Game, to
name a few. Besides being an accomplished pianist and violinist,
she is also the voice of the Princess Anneliese Barbie doll in stores
today! Her first CD is now available at www.larajanine.com.
Mike Apple (Messenger)
Mike grew up in upstate New York. During his last two years at college,
he began taking acting classes, which led to his move to the west
coast. He spent two years in San Diego where he did a lot of
independent theater and some independent film projects while singing
lead and playing rhythm guitar for the band Green Eggs and Sam. He
moved to Los Angeles in August 2003 to further pursue his acting
dreams. Since the move, he has been studying his craft and been doing
various independent and grad student film projects. "The Ultimate
Musical" will mark his debut in musical theatre.
Joanne Mathos ("Narrator," Creative Consultant)
Joanne has sung in rock bands, as a folk singer, and in numerous
choruses, including the LA Women's Community Chorus under the direction
of Sue Fink. She favors music as diverse as Appalachian tunes, punk,
and heavy metal. As Narrator, Joanne knits together her two loves:
singing and telling a story. She thanks Virginia, Mike, and Monika for
making "The Ultimate Musical" her musical debut.
Amanda Turner Manning (2nd Voice/One Out of Ten)
Amanda has been working professionally as a singer, dancer, and actress
since the age of 14. Dance credits include work for BBC 1, SKY TV and
MTV. Musical theatre credits include: Princess Jasmine in "Aladdin,"
Lucy in "Threepenny Opera," Epinine in "Les Miserables," Fransisca in
"Westside Story," and Kim in "Miss Saigon." She toured UK fronting the
"Midnite" band and has toured London as an acrobat and Martial Artist
in the Chinese Circus. Amanda is currently fronting the alternative
pop/rock band FENA and cowriting/backing singing for the funk/rock band
SMACK. Earlier in the year, she sang with Police Tribute band FALLOUT,
opening for Peter Frampton.
Erika Davis-Marsh (1st Voice)
Erika was last seen as Jellylorum/Griddlebone in "Cats." She has played
Polly in "Crazy for You," Maria in "The Sound of Music," Little
Buttercup in "HMS Pinafore" and Annelle in "Steel Magnolias." She has
danced with Marlies Yearby ("Rent"), and sung with the Sacramento
Symphony Chorus. She is a graduate of UC Davis and currently studies
with Anthony Meindl.
Kathleen Chen (3rd Voice)
Kathleen is currently performing in "Godspell." She has performed in
productions for over ten years. Her favorite roles include Andrea in
"Once on This Island" and Titania in "A Mid-Winter Night's Murder."
During the recent Democratic National Convention, she was a featured
vocalist in the biographical documentary of John Kerry, produced by
Steven Spielberg and directed by James Moll.
This year, Kathleen was a featured vocalist in another
Spielberg-produced documentary, "The Four Chaplains." She is active as
a founding member of the Academy Repertory Company. She is proud to
have been a part of readings of new works with East West Players and
South Bay Civic Light Opera. She is currently seeking representation.
Christel Alexander (Mum, Ensemble)
Christel considers herself a late-bloomer who has finally found her
passion. In Northern California, she has performed her one-woman
cabaret show at numerous venues, including Cosumnes River College and
the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society. She was cast in five musicals
at the Davis Musical Theatre Company and in musical revues at Garbeau's
Dinner Theatre and the Delta King Theatre. Locally, she has performed
in concerts at Los Angeles City College and at Santa Monica College in
"The Threepenny Opera." This is the first time Christel is performing
in an original musical, which she finds very exciting because it offers
the opportunity to develop a new character. |
